Game Mechanics
Four cars are present on the circuits Super Sprint: a yellow, a blue, a red and a green. Three of them are controlled by the players, the fourth (green) is still controlled by the computer. On the arcade terminal, the player uses two pedals (acceleration and braking) and a steering wheel. A game is played in three laps, the player gets to the next race if he finishes in front of the computer. The difficulty is not changed by the number of players, the green car being always the fastest car controlled by the computer.
Along the course of the difficulties appear on the circuit: oil flacs (which make the car derail), water flacs (which slows it down), tornadoes (which make it whirling), cones (aligning the car then disappearing)' If a car hits a wall, depending on its speed it can explode; You'll have to wait precious seconds for a rescue helicopter to get back on track.
Banknotes can also be found on the track that bring points and keys to the wheel that improve the car once four of them have been brought together, if necessary in several races. The different areas of improvement are state-of-the-art speed, acceleration, road holding, and helicopter (speed to which the rescue helicopter brings an alternate vehicle) and can go from level 0 to level 5. Once the highest level has been completed, the keys spent in this area report points.
The circuits are fairly simple in shape with wide corners, and sometimes intersections where vehicles can hit. Some shortcuts are possible by doors or springboards.
