Game Mechanics

The goal of the game is to cross the different rooms of the castle, until the release of the princess, pressing the right touch at the right time. This is the very first use of the QTE principle in a video game. However, the reaction time is extremely short, and the game only rarely indicates when and how to react.

The player has 5 lives and a number of continuouss. When he loses a life, he is returned at the beginning of the screen. When it has no life, it is brought back several screens back, or even at the beginning of the game.
