Game Mechanics

Vigilante resumes the bases Kung-Fu Master, that is, the action takes place on a single plan and the player can only move on the horizontal axis. The enemies arrive by small groups either by the right or by the left and to undo there are two possible attacks: punching or kicking. These two attacks can be carried out up, down or during jumps. It is also possible to pick up nunchakus at certain moments of the game to eliminate its opponents more quickly. Each level ends with a hard to beat bump whose life bar regenerates over time.

The interface is also very close to that of Kung-Fu Master, the life bars of the hero and boss are in the same place and the time meter is always present. Some enemies also have inherited behavior of this game and come grab the player until he die. The two-player mode also retains the same alternate system and therefore does not allow simultaneous play. Finally, we find that the difficulties that the player must overcome (not let himself be overflowed, react quickly) are substantially the same between these two titles.
