The first part of the Shining Force trilogy on Game Gear, Shining Force Gaiden is a strategic role game. Most of the title is devoted to fighting. You move your little community on the map, the fight happens when you are in contact with the enemy. Each confrontation reports points of experience, provided that they are released alive, of course.
