Game Mechanics

WrestleMania 2000 uses a game engine previously used in WCW/nWo Revenge. More than 50 superstars have been included in the game, and, with the exception of the already existing list of movements, each of them can be edited to the good will of the game. Using the same system, the mode Create-a-Wrestler (creating wrestler) is extended. The player can also assign movements from a large list. The usual WWF modes such as modes Royal Rumble and King of the Ring have been included, in addition to a mode pay-per-view, allowing the player to create a unique style or recreate them pay-per-views broadcast by the television show. The player can also create his own belts and titles.

History mode (story mode) stages the player's course. In the skin of a beginner wrestler, the player climbs from level to level as the game progresses, competing with other wrestlers, winning many titles and accessing the event WrestleMania 2000. Although the story mode is long, depending on the number of games to which the player participates, there is no concrete scenario and if the player loses a game, it is simply recorded and does not modify the course in any case. In reality, wrestlers must defend the titles of pay-per-view.
