History

Tina, Princess Leilani's sister, was abducted by the Sorcerer. Master Higgins, the hero of the series, must save her through 8 theme islands to visit, respectively Fern, Lake, Desert, Ice, Cave, Cloud, Volcano, and Dinosaur islands.

Game Mechanics

Adventure Island II is a horizontal scrolling platform game. The player controls a character who must arrive at the end of the level in a limited time. The character can jump, attack and climb on various prehistoric animals. By mashing fruit, the player can save time to finish the level, or break 'ufs that reserve good and bad surprises. The game also offers an inventory system available at the beginning of each level, made rare in the platform games of the time. This system allows players to store objects kept from previous levels and reuse them in the following levels.
