One year after defeating Mr. X, police officers Axel, Blaze and Adam resumed the normal course of their existence until the latter was abducted. This is the starting point of Streets of Rage 2 on Megadrive. The game remains a classic beat'em all, but is greatly enriched in terms of playability compared to its predecessor, as well as in terms of interactivity of the environments.
