Game Mechanics

At the beginning of each level, it is indicated to the player the car it must continue. Since the criminal's car is very far away at the beginning of the game, it is necessary to catch up before the deadline. If the player makes road outs several times or drives too slowly, the car will escape. At times of the game, the road is divided and the right direction must be chosen, otherwise the criminal will save more time to escape. When the criminal's vehicle is reached, an additional time is given to the player and the vehicle must be hit several times until the criminal is forced to stop.

The game includes five levels.

Although technically similar to Out Run de Sega, Chase HQ presents important technical advances in relation to this title, in the presentation of perspective, hills and slopes.
