Game Mechanics

Spiru is a game of platforms where the player embodies the character in the same name. He can walk, run, jump and fall. In order to reach certain areas, it can dive and slide on the ground over a certain distance. In addition, it can shoot with a gun and swim in submarine levels.

Spirou has a health bar that allows him to take six shots before losing a life. If the player has extra lives when he loses a life, the level restarts completely. If he has no more lives, the game is over. An extra life is won by collecting 50 Spirou hats, which are scattered in the fourteen levels. Pick up a ur fills the health bar from a point. By diving under the water, Spirou can only hold his breath for a while. Time under water can be extended by collecting oxygen bottles.

A password system gives the player the ability to continue playing the game. However, there is only one valid password that always restarts the player in the middle of the game. The game supports three levels of difficulty: easy, medium and difficult. There is also a sound test function in the game.
