Game Mechanics

The game is presented as a multi-sport virtual competition called the "Epyx Games" with a maximum of eight players each choosing a country to represent, then in turn in competition in various events to try to get a medal. On most versions, world records can be saved on the diskette.

The Commodore 64 version allows players to make a link between summer games and summer games II and to engage in a big Olympic Games, earning medals in a tournament of both games combined.

Available events vary slightly depending on the platform, and may include:

• Jump to the perch
• Underwater swimming
• Sprint race
• Gymnastics
