Game Mechanics

The game offers three types of scenario. The first two take place at the end of XIXcentury and see six great powers (England, Germany, France, the United States, Japan and Russia) fighting, either by controlling at the beginning only their national territory, or under conditions corresponding to historical reality. The third scenario began in 1914 and simulates the First World War clashes between Germany, Russia, France and England. Each nation can be controlled by a player or computer and has the objective of conquering the world. The game takes place in turn, each of them being divided into two phases: political and military. The first phase allows first to send spies to obtain information about competing nations. It also makes it possible to allocate funds to destabilize a nation, pour bribes, organize a coup d'état or support a country in order to obtain its recognition. Finally, this phase allows for the recruitment of troops, the construction of ships and the strengthening of existing units. The second phase allows to move its troops, whether on land or on sea. It also allows for conflicts with other nations. At the end of each round, the computer records the points obtained by each nation and determines whether one of them won the game.
