History

The player embodies Alan Grant who must escape from a Pacific island filled with dinosaurs. But before, Alan has to fulfill various objectives: to put the current on the power generator, activate the motion detectors by starting a computer, to collect the 'bike eggs, to contact the boat, to recover a neurotoxic gas and to destroy the 'velociraptor eggs in their nests, to block the access of velvets in the center of the visitors, to activate the levels 1 and 2 of security

Several buildings are present in the game and Alan must enter to achieve the objectives that are requested: The Nublar Rebate, the North Rebate, the Beach Rebate, the Boat, the Visitors Center, the Raptors Enclos and the Raptors Nest.

Game Mechanics

A particular feature of the game is that the view changes as you are inside or outside the buildings. Outside, the player sees his character from above (in the way of the first The Legend of Zelda) but the view passes to the first person once inside to get closer to shooting games to the first person.

Its impossibility to save, despite the difficulty and length of the game, discourages many players, even if emulation can now overcome this defect.

The game is compatible with Super Nintendo mouse for, for example, using terminals.
