Mortal Kombat II

History

After his defeat, Shang Tsung begged his master, Shao Kahn, to save his life. He tells him that the invitation for the Mortal Kombat tournament cannot be denied, and only if the tournament takes place in the World Outra, the warriors of the Earth Kingdom must be present. Kahn agrees on this principle and restores health and youth to Tsung. He extends the invitation of Raiden, who on his side invites his fighters to join him, and all go to the Outworld. The tournament is dangerous because Shao Kahn has the advantage of being in his element, and a victory of the Kingdom of Mal would unbalance the situation and allow evil forces to overwhelm the Earth.

The story follows that of the first opus, and overall, this episode is richer than the previous one.
