Game Mechanics

With a top view, the player embodies the Tasker agent (heros of the film played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) and has to eliminate the enemies on his way through twenty levels tracing the story of the film fairly faithfully. Different weapons are usable to eliminate opponents: colt, pump rifle, Uzi, grenade and flamethrower. To move forward, the player must sometimes find access keys or achieve certain goals as placing a tracker. In several missions, hostages must also be released. Civilians are not targeted by terrorists but can be reached by lost bullets. If three hostages die, the mission is a failure.

Tasker's movements are quite limited: it can't jump or run, but can do a roll-down on the ground to avoid shooting.
