Game Mechanics

Utopia plays two in turn and does not allow to play against an opponent controlled by the artificial intelligence of the game. Before the start of a game, players must choose the turn number of the game and the duration of each round.

Each player manages its own island and uses the controller to move a rectangular cursor on the screen. Players must use gold to build different types of buildings, to make fishing boats or PT-boats or to look for a rebel activity on the island of the opponent. At the same time as the island population increases, the player must feed and ensure the happiness of the island but also manage the problems related to rebel activities that can reduce the player's score or destroy buildings. Player revenues are generated when randomly created clouds pass over the farms on its island, when fishing boats are positioned on a fish bench and at the end of each round according to the productivity of the factories and boats of the player. The winner is the player who raised the most point at the end of the game.

At each turn, the player can build buildings and real-time work his fishing boats to follow the fish benches. The player can also try to sink the fishing boats from his opponent using the PT-boats.

The game's algorithm randomly generates clouds, storms, fish benches and pirate boats.
