Game Mechanics

The game staged Bub and Bob, two children transformed into dragons and whose fiancées were kidnapped by Baron von Blubba. Bub, helped by Bob in two-player mode, has to browse the approximately 100 levels of the game to deliver them.

Each level consists of a fixed screen with for environment a set of more or less ambiguous platforms. Monsters evolve in this setting and the goal is to eliminate them all without being touched. Dragons have the power to spit bubbles that imprison enemies for a few seconds; They then have only to burst the bubble to kill the monster and to appear an object that comes to swell the score. There are different parameters that gradually come into play, complicating the challenge: beyond a certain time limit, monsters abruptly accelerate; the duration of "capture" bubbles is variable and air currents can alter their trajectory.

The resolution of levels therefore requires address and reflection. The game also contains many mysteries that require a certain time of experimentation to be drilled (system of dark points, various bonus objects, hidden end, etc.).
