WCW vs nWo: World Tour is the first wrestling game entirely in 3D. Choosing typing on a button or other will have heavy or weak consequences once the movement is made, while a similar system is used for blows. The game has generally sold out very well. Unlike current wrestling games, World Tour had no fashion to create a wrestler, no "real" game mode and a fairly limited number of wrestlers. Asmik Ace and THQ included a number of wrestlers « fictitious » in the game, which are Japanese wrestlers appearing in the Japanese version of the game, Virtual Pro Wrestling 64, and appearing in North America with names changed due to licenses. many of them are FMW stars like Hayabusa, who was renamed Hannibal, and Atsushi Onita, who was renamed Puchtecha, like future WWF stars like Taka Michinoku, called here Black Belt.
