Despite his title, the game The Karate Kid on NES is actually inspired by the film The Karate Kid 2. You play Daniel Larusso and you cross several levels, corresponding to so many phases of a karate competition. Several gameplay styles are coming together. Thus the levels oscillate between action, combat and platforms.
