Super Bomberman 5 is the last episode of the Bomberman series on Super Nintendo and, like its predecessor, it is a Japanese exclusivity. The game does not bring much new to previous episodes, except the possibility to save its progress automatically in history mode. At the end of each level, several doors are open, offering a different suite depending on the chosen path.
